Great Tip
ByOne of the Great Tips that I discovered recently came from The National Quilters Circle Scraps of Batting by ZT Humbach. What to do with those small pieces of left over batting and wadding. I keep one piece by my sewing machine and one by the ironing board with a small pair of scissors.
Whenever we are sewing we are continually snipping threads off our work. No matter how careful we are when pressing our work we still discover a thread or two that needs snipping. Snip, drop it onto a scrap of batting and at the end of the day throw the whole thing into the bin.
It works really well, a great way of using up the scraps of wadding/batting. It also saves a lot of mess and cleaning up at the end of the day.
Happy sewing and snipping. Ilene
